Titus - Introduction

THINKING BIBLICALLY - Part 1            Page 7

** Let's go back to our question at the beginning of our study today.

As we make an effort to keep our lives focused on the Lord by filtering all of our daily events through the grid of Biblical thought, what two things do we have at our disposal to equip us for success?

1) The Word of God!

Romans 15:4 - "For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope"

2Timothy 3:16-17 - "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."

2) The Fellowship of the Saints!

Paul's loving and strong relationship with Titus
2Corinthians 8:23 - "As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow-worker among you..."

** Do you actively apply the truth of God's Word to the many and varied situations in your life and are you keeping yourself accountable to a brother or sister in the Lord?

** Will you now commit to the Lord your desire to spend time reading Titus, learning its truths and applying its wisdom so that you will become one who is always Thinking Biblically?
