Chapter Five, Lesson Three THE SPIRIT FILLED LIFE - Part 3 Ephesians 5:15-21 Print this Bible Study STIMULATE ** At the conclusion of last week's study, we reviewed our passage to find six specific commands or examples that would better equip us for the task of living "The Spirit Filled Life" in our marriage and with others around us. Do you recall what those were?
** Did anyone find it helpful to sit down with your spouse and discuss these six issues?
MOTIVATE ** Are you aware of the things which are trying to control your life? As Christians we have already seen the importance of living "The Spirit Filled Life", but what are some of the things in this world that can take over who we are and how we act?
** If we want to avoid that list of negative influence on our marriages and on our relationships with others around us, what must we be willing to do? For the wonderful answer, let's listen to the heart of the apostle Paul in our passage for today. He is going to give us seven characteristics of living out "The Spirit Filled Life". Our joy is going to come from learning these marvelous truths and then applying them to our walk with the Lord. Read passage (V.15-21) Opening Prayer |
