welcome
As Christians strive to live each day for the glory of our Lord
Jesus Christ, what is the one thing that will equip them to reach that
God honoring goal? It is the daily practice of "Staying in the Word
" (Colossians 3:16). A proper understanding of this critically
important issue comes to us from the brother of our Lord when he said,
"But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude
themselves." This website has been created from the weekly Bible studies
which were written and taught over a period of twenty years by Cliff Relyea.
To learn more about him, please visit the "about us" page by clicking
on this link . For every believer who wishes
to honor Christ in their daily walk, the continual study of God's precious
word becomes a must. King David said, "Thy word I have treasured in my
heart, that I may not sin against Thee" (Psalm 119:11). It is impossible
to obey God's word if we do not know it.
All Scriptural references
on this website have been taken from the New American Standard Bible unless
otherwise noted and it is our prayer that you will be blessed richly for
the time you spend here. These studies have all been written with the
application of God's word in mind. We should not become satisfied with
simply learning what the Bible says, but rather, we should strive together
to obey God's inspired instruction to our hearts. To better understand
for whom this site has been designed, please visit the Just For You page. If one were to work their way through each
of the 160 studies contained within this website, they would have spent
three years in the study of God's word. This is a serious call to live
a life of devotion to the One who gave His life for the eternal security
of our souls. Some of our visitors have asked for our Doctrinal
Statement. You can read our Statement of Faith by clicking on this
link. If you find the material contained in
this website to be useful in your walk with the Lord, please pass on our
address to others who could be blessed as well. Thank You!
